Introduction
All products made by Conserveira do Sul are subject to a rigorous quality control through comprehensive monitoring of the production processes.

This is achieved through HACCP, a quality/hygiene and food safety system which is in place to objectively control the quality and safety of our products before they hit the consumer market.

Techincal Safety
The packaging of the conserves is sterilised with an air-tight seal to ensure that the contents remain uncontaminated. As a rule of thumb, packages that for some reason appear oxidised or punctured should be rejected.

Packages should not be stored in warm places or exposed to sunlight. Once opened, they should be either used immediately or kept in a refrigerator.

Nutritional Value
The quality of the conserves is guaranteed as products are 100% natural without preservatives or any other additives.

As a result, by the time the product is consumed, all the nutrients made up of an important rich source of proteins (important for good muscular structure), vitamins (A, D and also group B), lipids (fish being high in polyunsaturated fat such as omega3 which helps to prevent heart disease) and mineral salts (namely phosphorous, calcium which help to strengthen bones)
